True Strength MMA has been in the Roswell, GA area for six years, yet they continued to appear on the second to the third search results page on Google when searching for terms like mma in roswell ga. They had a website that was not the best in terms of design and usability. When you walk through the doors of True Strength MMA, they’re very friendly and you can sense there are no pushy sales tactics involved with customers’ free trials. From this information alone, we could define who their ideal buyer personas were: customers who were looking for a martial arts gym where they felt comfortable and part of a community who may have had negative experiences with previous gyms.
Structuring Page Flows For Optimal Prospect Conversion
When we were performing their initial site audit, we took note that there were no points of conversion for customers. Their site navigation was all over the place and it was quite difficult to navigate and find the information customers and prospects were looking for. We added clear call-to-actions in specific areas of each page to optimally drive form submissions to bring in quality leads.
Addressing All SEO Crawl Issues
Our first step of performing an SEO audit includes running the entire site through a site crawler. These crawlers will tell us if you have any underlying errors that may be hurting your search results rankings on Google. We ran their website through an SEO crawler and found several technical errors needing to be addressed. After we handled all errors, there was an improvement in search rankings after one month.
A Website Built For Future Growth
We made it a point to our client that it’s important to constantly make improvements to their website. A website is never perfect - we’re always looking for areas of improvement. That’s why we recommended Squarespace to our client because it’s a platform that’s flexible enough for us to run various A/B testing experiments and quickly and effectively make changes as we go.
Our Results And Timeline
After two months and two weeks, we were able to launch the new True Strength MMA website and successfully submit it to the Google Search Console for indexing. The two months involved us defining buyer personas, creating a new site architecture, creating SEO outlines for every page, writing all of the new content for each page, building every page in Squarespace, and connecting their site to their Google My Business for simple accessibility.
Since we launched in August 2020, True Strength MMA has averaged 15-20 leads every month and they have converted every website lead into a customer.
